Thomas E. Harper

Thomas Edward Harper, 65, of New Castle, PA., passed away the evening of June 4, 2023 at UPMC-
MaGee Hospital. Thomas was born August 13, 1957 at Jameson Hospital, New Castle, Pa., to the late
Charles Sr. and Helen (Mundziak) Harper. He was married to the former Brenda Klinesmith in May of
1999. They were married for 24 years. She survives at home.
Thomas graduated from New Castle Area Senior High School, class of 1976. After high school, Thomas
was employed and retired from Ellwood Quality Steel. He enjoyed golf, fishing and being outdoors. Mr.
Harper also loved to travel, go for car rides and get ice cream.
In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children Abbagail (Howie) Simmons, Chewton, Genna
Harper, Aaron Harper, and Coty Klinesmith all of New Castle; grandson Aiden Sipe, brother Charles
Harper, Alabama, sister Charlene (Craig) Slater, Alabama, sister-in-law Cindy Herr, Arizona, brother-in-
laws Terrance (Tammy) Klinesmith and Albert Klinesmith Jr., both of New Castle, and several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Dave and James Harper, mother and
father in law, Albert and Karen Klinesmith, brother-in-law Roy L. Herr Sr. and nephew Roy L. Herr Jr.
Per Mr. Harper’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Noga Funeral Home, Inc.
