William Gabriel Obituary

William “Billy” J. Gabriel, 84 of 1116 Mercer Street, New Castle, passed away on June 11, 2021 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Billy was born in New Castle to the late Domenick and Mary (Isaac) Gabriel on November 7, 1936.

He was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1954. He was of Maronite Catholic faith and a member of St. John’s the Baptist Maronite Church. Billy was an expert Ford mechanic, enjoyed cars, drag racing and following his son to Motocross events.

Billy is survived by his children, Kimberly A. (Gabriel) Palazzola of New Castle, William D. Gabriel of New Castle and Rodney A. Gabriel of Jackson Center, and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Marie Hassen.

A Memorial Service will be held today, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Maronite Catholic Church at 11 AM. Arrangements were entrusted to the Noga Funeral Home Inc. 1142 S Mill Street New Castle. Online condolences may be viewed or given by visiting nogafuneralhome.com
